We've just gotten some very up close photos of a white 2010 Chevy Equinox without a shred of camouflage on it! Code-named GMT172, these are the most revealing Equinox pictures that we've taken until now. Chevy's redesigned CUV will be available with a direct-injection, 2.3L inline four or a V6.

2010 BMW Z4 spied!

Our spies have lifted the lid on the next-generation BMW Z4 and the big news is that instead of a fabric top, the new version of this roadster follows the footsteps of its 3-Series Convertible sibling and its Mercedes-Benz SLK rival with a retractable steel top. As the pictures of this mildly disguised Z4 prototype suggest, the styling seems more muscular. Rumor has it, the new Z4 will likely offer a twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight six-cylinder powerplant! And we hear there's even the possibility that the Z4 will be available with diesel power for the first time!

Mark Fields described the MKT concept introduced at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show as "...full-size premium utility (that) offers the comfort of a luxury sedan, the spaciousness and flexibility of a full-size utility and the performance of a sporty roadster...," and we think - by the looks of this prototype - that Ford is staying rather close to the concept for this production luxury utility vehicle.

2011 Hyundai Tucson - First pictures!

These are the very first pictures of the next generation Hyundai Tucson. This prototype was undergoing durability testing in the southwestern part of the U.S. Production for the Korean market is expected to start in the last quarter of 2009, with sales in North America starting in mid-2010, likely making the all-new Tucson a 2011 model-year offering.

As a photographer I despise camera-phones! But that was all Reed Hecht had on him as he spotted a 2010 Prius prototype on the city streets. With Toyota's history of extreme camouflage, this may be all we're able to see until the Prius makes its official debut at the North American International Auto Show, in January.

Referred to for months by its code name, MPV7, Brenda caught a running prototype of the Chevrolet Cruze (platform) based MPV which will make its official debut in concept form at the Paris Motor Show in October.

Nissan has announced that their GT-R supercar has won a prestigious "Most Advanced Technology Award" as part of the Japanese Car of the Year for 2008-2009. With selection conducted by the Car of the Year Japan Executive Committee earlier this month, the GT-R was recognized for both its lightning-fast transmission and unique all wheel drive system.
